
Ghana (Gold) – In February of 2021, Emiral formed a local wholly owned subsidiary — Emiral Resources Ghana Ltd.
Emiral took an active interest in Ghana, the country primarily known for its gold reserves.
In August 2021, the company acquired a 19.7% stake in Asante Gold, with Emiral’s CEO, Alexander Smirnov, joining Asante’s board. The $45 million investment into Asante Gold is part of an institutional placement and share purchase plan for their acquisition of Resolute’s Bibiani Gold Mine.
