Sudan (Gold Production)

Emiral’s leading project is the Kush project, implemented in the Republic of the Sudan by Kush for Exploration and Production and its production subsidiary Alliance for Mining.

Alliance is the biggest industrial gold producer in Sudan. The company was recognized as the “Best Company of 2020” by the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company. The Ministry of Energy & Mining and Sudanese Mineral Resources Company expressed their gratitude and respect to Alliance for its efforts to develop the country’s mining sector and the results achieved in 2020. As well as its contribution to the development of local communities. Alliance has shown high efficiency and achieved the sustainable development goals of the mining sector aimed for 2020.

Emiral has a full cycle exploration and mining business in Sudan with a production capacity of up to 95,000 oz. per annum.  The main achievements of this project are:

  • April 2013 – obtainment of exploration license for Block 30

  • May 2015 – commenced gold production

  • March 2016 – production of 32,000 oz.

  • January 2018 – increase of production capacity up to 95,000 oz. per annum

Kush for Exploration & Production successfully accomplished exploration works on the target A38 of the Block 30 license area, and started preparation of the Feasibility Study. The full scope of exploration works has been realized since 2017 totaling 49 thousand meters of RC drilling and 46 thousands of samples.

Kush for Exploration and Production and Alliance for Mining announce new inflation bonus

Kush for Exploration and Production and Alliance for Mining announced an inflation bonus in the amount of 50% of the monthly salary on March 15, 2021, and another inflation bonus in the amount of 50% of the monthly salary on March 30, 2021. This comes in addition to the companies’ 100% salary indexation effective from January 2021. By internal companies’ procedures, another salary indexation will be made in April 2021 based on the economic and inflation situation in the country.

Kush for Exploration & Production received formal approval from the Ministry of Energy and Mining for extension of exploration works on the Block 30 license area and was granted by Sudanese Mineral Resource Company (SMRC) with the certificate for Mineral Exploration Areas (MDA5 & MDA6) till August 2021.
